Brighton - An Indie Guide 🌈

This weekend (2nd‑3rd July) is Independents’ Day UK ‑ a campaign to support & promote independent retail businesses. Every year it falls on the weekend closest to July 4th: ‘Independents’ Day’ itself (get the pun!). So, we've decided to celebrate everything indie in our home city of Brighton & Hove. (#ukindieday)

 Rubber duck

The Duck House Brighton

With over 400 different types of ducks, you'll be able to find the perfect quack for everyone. You could easily spend all day in this shop from superheroes, public figures, royalty and sports. Of course, you can still get the original iconic yellow bathtub toy, but where's that fun? 🐤

 Pottery Cafe

The Painting Pottery Cafe Brighton

What a great place to take the little ones (& big ones too, for that matter!). Everyone will enjoy selecting their clay canvas, whether a vase, piggy bank, bowl or figurine. Then you can let your creativity flow or chuck the paint on, whichever is your style. 🎨

As independent retailers, we know how important it is to support each other. Did you know we have a store in Brighton? We are proud to be part of such a bright, cheerful and happy community ‑ in the heart of The North Laine. So why not pop in, say hello, and check out all our rainbows!

 Purezza Pizza

Purezza

What a little slice of happiness! Award-winning 100% plant-based pizza. Founded in Brighton in 2015, it was the UK's first vegan pizzeria. They also cater for all dietary choices, restrictions and allergens. So you'll be able to keep the whole family happy. 🍕

Gelato Gusto

Gelato Gusto Artisan Ice Cream

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream! Except, this isn't just ice cream ‑ this is gelato ‑ and yummy gelato. With such an array of flavours, waffles, crepes, cakes and desserts, you will be spoilt for choice. 🍦
