We are proud to say our Childrenswear Account Manager Clare Allingham is running the London Marathon in support of Young Lives vs Cancer. Good Luck Clare, we know you can do it!
“Today, 11 children and young people in the UK will hear the devastating news they have cancer.”
By running the London Marathon, and raising as much money as possible for Young Lives Vs Cancer, I want to try and support every child and their family who are experiencing this.
A parent's focus should only be on the child and not the other stresses that this illness creates, and that's why I’m so proud to be running for the amazing charity, Young Lives V’s Cancer.
They are a charity that helps children/young people and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
Thank you for reading, and if you are kind enough to leave a donation, thank you for your generosity and support – you are all incredible.
xx
The London Marathon is the race that keeps on giving. It is a challenge we all take seriously and support in as many ways as possible. This year, one of our team members decided to run the London Marathon – not for fun, but in support of a fantastic cause: Young Lives vs Cancer. So now it’s time to let you know who’s running and why. This year, our Childrenswear Account Manager Clare will be pounding the streets of London to aid Young Lives vs Cancer.
Clare is running the London Marathon to help make a difference for young people with cancer. Young Lives is committed to improving healthcare for young people. Clare will be raising money to support this vital work. If cancer is diagnosed early, it is most often treatable and curable. Young Lives is working to improve this situation. Their efforts focus on improving diagnosis and treatment and training health workers so young people with cancer can access the care they need.
This year, the London Marathon is more important than ever. You can help make a difference for young people with cancer by signing up for the race and supporting our Young Lives team. You can also donate or share this blog to show your support. So let’s make a difference together!
