Share
We’re absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news - Toby Tiger has been named as one of the UK’s 100 most inspiring small businesses for 2025 by the Small Business Saturday campaign!
As a family-run, ethical children’s clothing brand founded by Zoe Mellor back in 1998, we’ve spent over 25 years creating fun, sustainable and colourful clothing for little ones. To be recognised as part of the SmallBiz100 line-up is such an honour - especially as it shines a light on the most innovative and admired small businesses across the nation.
Our official SmallBiz100 profile will be featured on 25th November as part of the countdown to Small Business Saturday UK on 6th December.
“We’re absolutely thrilled that Toby Tiger has been chosen as one of this year’s SmallBiz100. For over 25 years, we’ve been passionate about creating fun, sustainable and ethical clothing for little ones, and it’s an honour to have our journey recognised alongside so many other inspiring small businesses. This recognition celebrates not just our colourful designs, but also the amazing community of customers and supporters who’ve grown with us along the way.”

What is Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday is the UK’s most successful grassroots campaign celebrating small businesses and encouraging the public to support and shop with local independents. Running for over a decade, it has engaged millions of people and generated billions of pounds in spending with small firms across the country.
It’s more than just one day – the campaign shines a spotlight on the value small businesses bring to their communities and to the wider economy all year round.
Michelle Ovens CBE, Director of Small Business Saturday UK, says:
“Small businesses are the nation’s favourite businesses – bringing immeasurable value to our local communities and powering the wider economy. Firms like Toby Tiger represent some of the UK’s most-loved small businesses.”
Why This Matters
Small businesses are at the heart of our high streets and communities, and we’re proud to be part of such a vibrant, creative and resilient community of independent brands. With so many challenges facing small firms, campaigns like Small Business Saturday are vital in reminding people to shop small, shop local, and shop sustainably.
