Designed to carry out general shunting duties, the Class 8 Diesel Locomotive dates all the way back to 1952 and is an important part of British Rail history.

This battery operated train requires 1 x AAA battery (not included). Magnetic couplings ensure compatibility with all other engines and carriages in the Bigjigs Rail range. Most other major wooden railway brands are compatible with Bigjigs Rail. Conforms to current European safety standards.
